About Nathan Jackson

I have a passion for computing and for web development! I love the way that knowledge of different programming languages can be used to perform useful tasks. Not only that but by how applying this knowledge can help others. My biggest passion is web development1st Class Level 6 BSc (HONS) in Computing at Birmingham City University (in association with Walsall College). During my spare time I enjoy fixing and taking apart computers, laptops, phones and various other technical devices. I enjoy the problem solving and learning involved whilst doing this. It gives me knowledge and enables me to become familiar with how computer/technical components work and are assembled. I am a guitarist and have been playing since the start of secondary education. Over time I have improved significantly. I enjoy spending time learning new songs, techniques and performing these in front of family and friends and also in school shows (During secondary education). Since leaving secondary school I have left my guitar as a personal hobby rather than a career path. Since graduating, I like to recite what it is that I have learned about web development over the last 4-5 years in college and how I could use the skill set to help myself and keep the brain stimulated! I believe that I have acquired a variety of different skills and strengths which are relevant to a wide range of jobs. Working at Pizza Hut has given me a greater understanding in customer interaction. I feel that I am able to work successfully within a team. I am reliable, enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated. No matter what job or task I do in my everyday life, I put all my effort into it. I am motivated by success; I love the feeling of self-satisfaction after achieving a goal I have set myself.
