Worked on the Technical Engineering Team for the AFDE Partnership at the Site C Hydro Electric Dam project for BC Hydro (fulfilling the Generating Station and Spillway contract and later the Upstream Permanent Fishway Contract). Performed over 250 cast-in-place concrete and pre-pour inspections, utilising engineering drawings to sign off on Thermal Controls. Used AutoCAD to create Thermal Control Drawings based on thermal simulation data, and drafted Lift and Isometric drawings to distribute to the field. Analysed thermal data from active concrete placements and issued proactive and reactive corrective measures to the field. Facilitated and presented this data to BC Hydro in daily meetings, covering each segment of the Dam Tested and analyzed concrete and aggregate samples from ready-mix trucks in order to provide customers with a quality product that guarantees structural safety. Worked in Quality Control, completing site visits to test Concrete, and inspect curing slabs, walls and foundations. Assisted plant supervisor and batcher with plant maintenance including concrete forming and finishing. Adhered to CRH health and safety directives, reporting all incidents and events witnessed to plant supervisor. Efficiently ran and oversaw a company territory, selling contracting services such as power washing, deck sanding and sealing, window washing as well as concrete treatment. Interviewed and hired 5 crew members, and trained them for working at heights and with power machinery. Created and maintained a safe and efficient job site, working with power machinery at heights, with a perfect safety record, and coordinated a diverse group in order to guarantee customer satisfaction. Project Administration experience in Condo Maintenance, working on and utilizing industrial water systems, facilitating the effective and safe implementation of heavy power machinery, as well as quality control and eliminating loss and damage.
