About Nathan Kimmal

Nathan Kimmal is the Manager of Case Management at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, one of the world's leading authorities on cancer. Nathan has extensive experience in nursing and case management, having worked in trauma at top hospitals in Maryland and New York, and as Care Manager II at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, one of the highest ranked hospitals in the nation. As Care Manager, Nathan coordinated care for a diverse patient population and managed complex cases; serving as a strong liaison between medical/surgical teams and the patients and their families, ensuring quality outcomes, optimal length of stay and safe transitions of care. Nathan is an ANCC Board Certified Nursing Case Manager and InterQual Certified Instructor (IQCI). Nathan develops and delivers regularly scheduled formal podium and power point presentations and lectures to new hires and experienced Case Managers, and has presented nationally and attended conferences such as the American Burn Association Annual Meeting and the ANCC National Magnet Conference. Nathan is an avid traveler and reader, and resides in New York City.
