I have always been deeply fascinated by mathematics, statistics, and computer science, as they provide the foundation for solving real-world problems through logic, structure, and innovation. My strengths lie in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and translating complex data into actionable insights. With a strong foundation in mathematical reasoning, statistical analysis, and computational techniques, I am passionate about harnessing the power of data to drive meaningful impact. I have successfully completed my Diploma in Mathematical Sciences with summa cum laude and am currently pursuing an advanced program in Mathematical Sciences part-time, further deepening my expertise in data science and analytics. Professionally, I interned at Eighty20 Consulting for six months, from July 2024 to December 2024, where I gained hands-on experience in data engineering, and cloud-based ETL processes. Following my internship, I transitioned into a permanent role as a Junior Data Engineer, where I contribute to designing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that drive business insights. In my final year, I completed two major projects that showcased my ability to integrate mathematics, machine learning, and data engineering to solve complex problems: • Call and Put Options Price Prediction Using Machine Learning: Developed machine learning models to model and predict the prices of call and put option contracts using Python, leveraging neural networks and random forests. This project enhanced my ability to work with financial time series data and apply advanced predictive modeling techniques. • Custom Apache Airflow Operator for ETL Pipelines: Designed and implemented a custom Apache Airflow operator to facilitate seamless data transfer from any relational database (RDBMS) to Amazon S3 storage. This project was critical in building efficient ETL data pipelines and deepened my expertise in cloud computing, workflow orchestration, and scalable data solutions. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS), and workflow orchestration tools. I am passionate about leveraging data-driven solutions to optimize business operations and am continuously seeking opportunities to refine my skills in big data processing, automation, and AI-driven analytics. I thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments and am eager to collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of innovation in data engineering and machine learning.
