About Nathan Marshall

Nathan is a Registered Landscape Architect with a background in capital city local government. His experience consists of a range of landscape and urban space projects from concept through to completion with a particular interest in civic spaces such as urban parks and retail strips, the integration of green infrastructure and water sensitive urban design. Whilst at City of Adelaide, Nathan was involved in the concept design, development and documentation of a wide range of council’s open space and urban design projects. Key projects include Gawler Place Renewal, Greening the West End, Waymouth Street outdoor dining and streetscape enhancements as well as a variety of master plans and landscape upgrade projects within the Adelaide Park Lands and Squares. During his time within public practise, Nathan has developed a rigorous understanding of the financial, political and social parameters of local government and the importance of rigorous stakeholder consultation through graphic and oral communication. Nathan offers a variety of skills from scoping studies and landscape assessments to documentation and construction administration. He is particularly passionate about hand drawn graphic communication and has developed this as a particular strength within his design skill set.
