About Nathan McLeod

I completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2010 at UniSA. This study fostered a jump into workplace rehabilitation shortly after. I have over 10 years experience in working in this industry in a range of injury management and prevention, safety, wellbeing and preventative spaces. I also have extensive B2B experience as an Account Manager and through national business development, most notably in my role as the Commonwealth Relationship Manager, managing the National Federal portfolio. I am currently working within Bupa across the Asia Pacific region as the Head of Wellbeing and Injury Management, putting many of these skills into practice assisting with creating a safe environment for all employees and leading the strategy for individual support and wellbeing across the APAC region. I am passionate about upskilling key stakeholders to understand the interaction of wellbeing and psychosocial safety, and to enable them to become advocates for this type of work, supporting people through a mixture of education and proactive support, and good psychosocial design and management. Outside of my work with Bupa, I operate a well regarded event management and consultancy business specialising in elite beach volleyball events. Working previously on local, State, National and International events both I, and SA Beach, pride ourselves on delivering a world class product that satisfies all key stakeholders from sponsors to players alike. I am heavily involved in volleyball in Australia sitting on various boards in the past and present including National, State and local appointments, as well as actively coaching at the local, state and national level.
