About Nathan Mueller

I currently work as a groundskeeper at Seven Stones Botanical Gardens Cemetery. Working 35 hours a week during the summer serving those experiencing hardships. Through this, I have learned valuable skills of prioritizing work and what needs to be done first as there is always something to be done on the grounds. I also currently work at Cold Stone Creamery on the weekends. At Cold Stone, I am one of the older employees so I have been able to learn how to effectively communicate with others that are younger than me. I am also a Resident Assistant at the University of Dubuque, entering my second year in that role. As a Resident Assistant, I am entrusted with leading over one hundred college-aged students. Because of this, I have grown my communication skills and my ability to talk with others from different walks of life. This position also has me working along with working with a team of 30 to serve the campus's students. In 2019 I worked at Chick-Fil-A for 8 months before I left for college. My time there taught me to make quick decisions because that was essential to the success of the job. Chick-Fil-A Taught me how to work effectively under pressure all for the betterment of the customers and teammates. In 2017-2018 I worked at Noodles World Kitchen. During my time at Noodles, I won Employee of the Month. I was also able to learn how to sell our product in the most effective way to a diverse demographic. In 2016-2017 I worked at Wendy’s. At Wendy's, I was able to deal with management changes and how to be reliable to others working under stressful situations. I was also able to developed the skill of communicating with disgruntled customers. At Wendy's, I won Employee of the Month.
