About Nathan Olson

I help organizations make sense of data governance - so it actually works. With a background in data engineering and analytics, I understand the technical side of things. But where I add the most value is helping teams figure out what matters, what’s realistic, and how to make data governance support the business instead of getting in the way. I’ve worked with companies across finance, insurance, manufacturing, government contracting, education, and nonprofits - each with their own messiness and complexity. I’m not interested in one-size-fits-all frameworks. I focus on what’s useful and what makes an impact.
