About Nathan Osborne

I have always been the type of person that needs to know how things work. I am all about the why and how, I have never been happy with simply accepting that something just works. This all started back when I was a kid, one of my favourite possessions was a Dick Smith electronics lab kit. Somewhere along the line my Dad bought home our first computer, a Tandy TRS80 and my future was cast, I would be an engineer! As such I have been a passionate Network Engineer for nearly 20 years. The best thing about technology is that it is always evolving and growing. Like the industry itself you must adapt or die, if you stay stuck in the old traditional ways of doing things you will soon became irrelevant. I believe the most valuable things in an Engineers toolkit is an open mind and a mild ego. There is always more than one way to do something and if you can’t be open and collaborative you won’t find the best option.
