About Nathan Phillips

I have worked for Nationwide Building Society for over 5 years and in that time have been a Branch Manager within our retail branch network and a Team Manager within Member Contact. The two roles have given me an array of skills to manage teams of varying sizes, working towards different performance goals. Managing in roles both in the branch network and in the contact centre has provided me with experience of creating positive working environments in contrasting areas, both striving towards finding the balance between providing excellent customer service and meeting the societies strategic drivers. in combination with the above, my first class Bachelor of Science Degree with honours has developed my inter personal and communication skills to allow me to effectively lead teams in varying departments of a business, setting clear goals and subsequently managing performance levels to reach desired outcomes. i am continuously looking to build on the experience that i already have, seeking further development to better my skills within a leadership setting and ultimately drive my career to the next level.
