About Nathan Pick

I wear many hats. I am public servant, part time Christmas tree farmer and a full time husband to my lovely wife Sarah. My past times include spending time with my family(my wife and our dog Lily) wood working and landscaping. In 2017, one of my goals is to launch a blog about turning a vacant space in my basement into a workshop as well as tackling some house renovations and landscaping projects. I hold two seasonal positions with the Government of Nova Scotia. In the Winter time, I am a base person with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal where my duties are mainly clerical. In the spring/summer/fall I work for the department of Natural Resources as a Forest Technician in Parrsboro. I have nearly 10 years of forestry and public service experience serving two provincial governments a wild land fire fighter. I consider myself a hard working individual.
