Over the past two and half years, I've had the privilege of serving as the Communications Manager / Marketing Director for Arts Missoula, a dynamic non-profit dedicated to fostering arts and culture in our community. At Arts Missoula, we champion arts advocacy, provide arts education, curate cultural events, facilitate community engagement, promote cultural enrichment, and support local artists.In addition to my role at Arts Missoula, I've also had the honor of serving as the Public Art Coordinator for the City of Missoula Public Art. In this capacity, I lead the coordination of monthly meetings and document proceedings through detailed minutes. Furthermore, I actively collaborate with local artists to facilitate the creation and installation of public art projects throughout our vibrant community. Additionally, I am the manager of CJ Ash Fine Arts, a visual artist in Missoula, Montana.Prior to my tenure with Arts Missoula and the Public Art Committee, I dedicated eight years to elementary education, where I had the opportunity to teach music (K-4), kindergarten, and first grade. Throughout my teaching career, I've cherished the role of being a positive role model for my students, fostering their growth and development in a nurturing environment.You will find me positive, hard working, committed to excellence, dedicated, and willing to accept and meet all challenges: I give 110 percent to everything I do.
