About Nathan Robb

A seasoned leader in real estate design and development, Nathan has completed an executive MBA at Duke Fuqua School of Business. As co-leader of a development and asset management team, he’s known for fostering dynamic teams, building strong relationships, and delivering customer satisfaction while advancing capabilities. With over 20 years in commercial real estate, design, and construction, he excels across the development process from site selection and acquisition to construction and portfolio management. Inspired by his grandfather, Nathan pursued a Bachelor of Architecture at UNC-Charlotte, playing a key role in introducing green building standards through the University Development Initiative. His activism provided valuable experience in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. A LEED Accredited Professional and Green Globes Professional, Nathan has contributed to LEED certified Class A office buildings and earned a graduate certificate in sustainable design at Boston Architecture College. Starting at Merritt Properties in 2001, Nathan progressed from hands-on construction work to managing complex projects across sectors, including urban redevelopment, mixed-use, light industrial, and data centers. Co-leading Merritt's first geographic expansion in 20 years, leveraging skills in strategic management, relationship building, and innovation to drive the company’s growth strategy. His leadership has helped forge relationships with stakeholders and adapt strategies for long-term growth. Volunteerism Nathan has been active with the US Green Building Council MD Chapter, co-leading the Emerging Young Professionals and supporting the LEED Platinum Habitat project. Serving as director, vice-chair, and chair, he helped grow membership and enhance collaboration within the USGBC network. Nathan has also volunteered with Chesapeake Search Dogs, advancing as a flanker and canine handler. With the National Association of Search and Rescue, he now instructs and evaluates search technicians and handlers.
