About Nathan Roberts

A broadcasting student with a love for sound, I entered Humber's Broadcast Television program with two goals: connect with creators, and make their work sound amazing. Almost two years later, I know I made the right choice. The combination of skills I was taught have given me an understanding of the entirety of the creative process. My experience in being selected for and leading a short documentary I created based on the history of Toronto, titled The Brick, taught me a lot about the amount of work that goes into a film. Over these two years I've learned how to successfully use Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, and DaVinci, as well as operating the Sony PDW-850. However, the most important skill I've learned isn't how to use the software or hardware. It's listening to my classmates and my instructors, and learning from them.
