Foreign Affairs | Democracy & Human Rights | Global Security I am a foreign affairs professional with a deep commitment to advancing democracy, human rights, and resilient international institutions. My work, spanning over 30 developing nations, has equipped me with a satellite-level perspective on global trends in diplomacy, development, and peacebuilding. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from American University, and a Master’s in Global Security from Arizona State University. My career includes high-impact roles across civil society, legal advocacy, media, and information spaces. At the Katiba Institute in Nairobi, I supported constitutional governance and legal reform. At Equator Creative Media I produced a full-length documentary highlighting the collapse of global health infrastructure. At the National Endowment for Democracy’s World Movement for Democracy, I led pro-democracy content initiatives, including the production of a feature-length documentary. Most recently at the National Democratic Institute, I’ve managed programs countering illiberal on-and-offline influence in the Asia-Pacific and beyond; working to not only defend democratic values but to innovate systems that can thrive in an increasingly complex and contested global environment.
