About Nathan Strasser
I was a lifeguard the summers and each year I was promoted because of my ambition and leadership until I became the manager for two years at the second largest pool in Greensboro. I then went on to become the president of a student organization in college, more than doubling its size and interest. While doing so, I stood out in my STEM courses, winning countless awards and not getting any final grades lower than an A. Over the summers, I was on the forefront of the COVID-19 vaccine development in 2020 at a biotech startup, later working on a quadrivalent influenza vaccine in 2021. I am now challenging myself in a new field, aerospace engineering, and working with partners, such as NASA and other aerospace companies, to develop hypersonic technologies.
