About Nathan Warner

Being born and raised in Westchester, California, I was lucky to have access to California’s beautiful landscapes - enjoying the sunshine and access to the beaches, deserts, and mountainous terrain. As my love for skateboarding, and the culture that surrounded it in the late 90’s and early I began to find myself listening to early punk albums, reading zines, and engulfing myself in the counter-cultures associated with those at the time.After high school, I continued my studies at Santa Monica Community College, focusing on fine art, with an emphasis on painting and drawing. After completing my first semester I took a 6 month hiatus as a road crew member for a punk band called The Orangeburg Massacre.After returning to California, I found a love and appreciation for making flyers, and other promotional items for art events happening around Los Angeles - which quickly blossomed into a fascination with wanting to learn how to design.That fascination is how I found myself on my way to San Francisco where I continued my studies at SF Art Institute, as a Design and Technology Major, narrowing my studies on branding and the history and theory of graphic design With 10 years of experience, and counting, I have had great mentors, and amazing opportunities to learn from very talented creatives.
