About Nathan Woolf

I’m currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I’ve developed a strong foundation in digital system design, with a particular interest in FPGAs and ASIC design and verification. Expected to graduate in May 2025, my academic journey is complemented by hands-on experience gained through internships and co-op roles. At GE HealthCare, I was immersed in a dynamic co-op experience, focusing on gaining hands-on industry experience and broadening my understanding of product development and integration. My previous role as a Controls Engineering Intern at Schreiber Foods sharpened my skills in automation, PLC programming, and data manipulation, contributing to significant efficiency improvements in SCADA systems. I’m also actively involved in Engineers Without Borders at UW-Madison, where I lead a team of 25 students in designing and deploying a photovoltaic system in Puerto Rico, aiming to bring sustainable energy solutions to underserved communities. My relevant experience has made me passionate about bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in engineering. As I approach graduation, I’m eager to explore opportunities where I can leverage my skills in digital design and system integration to drive innovation in the tech industry.
