About Nathaniel Fitzsimmons

Nate has been fascinated with how the human body works since he was young. He was first introduced to physical therapy while witnessing his father rehabilitate following surgery. He was fascinated by how physical therapy allowed his father to return to the things he loved to do. This inspired him to further explore how the human body works and pursue degrees in Exercise Physiology and Physical Therapy. Nate earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University followed by an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Pierpont Community & Technical College, where he graduated with honors. He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Findlay where he was the school's sole 2019 Inductee into the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy's National Physical Therapy Student Honor Society. Nate strives to provide the highest quality of care for patient's to enhance movement and increase function to improve the human experience. He enjoys working with patients from all walks of life, as well as assisting individuals in living a functional and more fulfilling lifestyle. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, outdoor activities, staying active, watching hockey, and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
