About Nathaniel Lynd
As a scientist/engineer with broad expertise across chemistry, chemical engineering, and materials science, I have leveraged my expertise in polymer science to implement new ideas, and solve problems, while working effectively on multi-disciplinary teams. I am motivated by a desire to advance science, engineering, and technology to positively impact people’s lives. Selected recent technical accomplishments: 1. Improved manufacturability of poly(lactide-co-glycolide) for complex implantable drug formulations in collaboration with the FDA by creating a new method of measuring copolymer sequence reproducibility. Created materials for mechanically strong iso-porous membranes for water filtration. Developed improved state-of-the-art cryoprotectant polymer compositions.Additionally, I have worked as a consultant to the polymer, healthcare, separations and manufacturing industries for more than 15 years.
