About Nathaniel Oppong

As a surveillance and risk intelligence professional with a background in criminology and psychology, I specialize in identifying patterns of risk across financial crimes, corporate threats, and social narratives.Currently, I serve as a Surveillance Operator at Great Canadian Entertainment, where I analyze real-time behavioral and transactional data to detect fraud, collusion, and regulatory breaches—working closely with law enforcement and compliance teams.Beyond this, I’m building Mirador, a next-generation threat and narrative risk assessment platform designed to help institutions detect reputational vulnerabilities before they escalate. By combining insights from intelligence analysis, stakeholder psychology, and strategic risk frameworks, Mirador aims to bridge gaps in traditional PR, compliance, and crisis management tools. My work sits at the intersection of: • AML & fraud detection • Threat intelligence & risk assessments • Strategic communication risks • Human behaviour and predictive indicatorsDriven by systems thinking, curiosity, and a bias for execution, I’m always looking to collaborate on mission-driven work that strengthens trust, transparency, and resilience in high-stakes environments.
