About Nathaniel Trout

Nathaniel Trout is a musician who also enjoys an adventurous Lifestyle filled with laughs, thrills and melodies. Some of his hobbies apart from music include extreme sports, Youth Ministry, Video games, Audio Technology and outdoors adventures. His family consists of a beautiful wife and two fluffy huskies. Nat was raised in a missionary home with ten other brothers and sisters, one of which is an identical twin brother. He picked up his first instrument at the age of fourteen. He borrowed a bass guitar from his friend and it just so happened, his father needed a bass player for the weekend worship service. Even after getting married and successfully working as a Locksmith Technician Specialist/Manager for a number of years while volunteering at his church, Nat still had a burning passion to be in full time music ministry. He had no idea that living out his dream to play music was actually possibility and was in God’s plan for him. He said “Its funny how God can use people to speak His calling into your life”. He remembers sitting in the kitchen eating dinner with his wife while they shared their dreams and passions in conversation. “Marin looked and me and asked” “why cant you go back to school for music and pursue your passion?” Now Nat is finishing up his undergrad and loving it. He is has been on staff part time at Newlife Community Church leading worship and developing youth program while playing and leading in the adult weekend services. Nat has rebuilt, reprogrammed, and repaired the youth ministries audio and visual presence. He has also developed a youth worship team. Mission Statement Nat’s mission in leading worship is to develop passionate followers of Christ by encouraging them to reach beyond they’re self perception to grasp meaning, identity and purpose in Him. His dream is for everyone to join Him in the pursuit of glorifying a Holy God while exercising humility to the point of experiencing Him on an intimate, and personal level.
