About Nathaniel Weir

As an Economics major and a Technology Management minor from UC Davis, I am passionate about people and the ways in which technology defines and expands a business's outlook. I aspire to pursue a career in finance and banking, where I can apply my analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to help clients achieve their financial goals. I recently completed the River City Bank Banking Academy, a 10-week intensive program that provided me with a comprehensive education in finance and banking principles. Through hands-on simulations, I gained valuable experience in analyzing loan requests, managing risks, and collaborating with various banking divisions. I also developed and implemented effective strategies to increase user retention, reduce closing time, and improve customer service in my previous roles as a team member at Burger Patch and a barista at Peet's Coffee. I am eager to learn more and contribute to the success of the finance and banking industry.
