About Nathaniel Wolff

Howdy, My name is Nathaniel Wolff, I am a nuclear engineer with a drive to build nuclear reactors. My interests lie in Small Modular and Micro Modular Reactors. I think these represent the best ideas from our industry. They are compact, powerful, extremely safe, extremely clean and modular. The capability to be reactive as a power source means that it can overcome one of Nuclear's few drawbacks, that it produces excess power. Most of my experience is in Managment. My entire high school and college career has been coupled with leadership. In high school alone I was- President of our National Forensics League (and 2nd at the State Debate Tournament)- President of our Science Bowl League - President of our Jr. Class - Founder and President of our MTG Club - Team Captain of Jr. Varsity Track and Field Sprint Team - and an officer of Chess Club At the collegiate level I have been designated captain of every group project that has been assigned to us and am currently the founder and president of UT's MTG Club. My experience as manager has taught me about listening to a variety of opinions and voices, delegating tasks to the best choices and creating useful timelines for projects. That is not to say that I am not an engineer too. I have had many humbling experiences about how little I really know about my discipline, and I am eager to learn every bit of it. I love what I learn and cannot wait to end every day knowing that I have learned a little more about how fascinating the world is. I am a problem solver, that's why I am an engineer. I want to ensure humanity has power for generations to come.
