About Nathi Poswa

The education industry has been my home for the past five years, I started volunteering as a Tutor in 2017 when I was in university. I further went onto become a Student Assistant for a Statistics in Behavioral Sciences module where I assisted first and second year students with tutorial and practical worksheets. After leaving university in 2019 I became a volunteering Teaching assistant at a local high school where my focus subject was Mathematical Literacy. The school employed me as an Education Assistant after that and my focus subjects were, in addition to Mathematical Literacy, English and Life Orientation. My current job as a Course Iterations Officer also has me placed behind the scenes in the education field, and helps improve my problem solving and content writing skills, among others. Apart from my experience in the education field, I have an undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Psychology. The knowledge garnered in Psychology helps me understand a lot of things like individuals' personalities, and learning styles. Furthermore, being a Psychology major has helped refine my writing skills as I have had to write multiple academic papers. My hobbies involve a lot of writing and reading. I also enjoy listening to music, watching series and going sightseeing; South Africa is truly a beautiful place worth exploring. Puzzles and WordSearch are also among some of my favorite things. I am a very eager individual who is determined and patient. Detail orientation, which is one of my most prized skills, requires perseverance and that is something I possess. I give my all to anything that I do, and am confident that any team would be happy to have me join them.
