About Naved Anwar Ansari

As an energy consultant, I am passionate about helping organizations achieve their decarbonization goals, optimize energy efficiency, and unlock investment opportunities that accelerate the clean energy transition. At Engineers India Limited, I spent 9 years in advising clients on strategies to reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and align with India’s climate commitments. My work spanned energy supply-demand analyses, due diligence on O&G, Renewables, and Utility Projects. I'm also have expertise in creating digital strategy roadmaps to incorporate tech into energy sector for automating workflows. I also partnered with international vendors, drafted tenders, and resolved client queries, ensuring that projects not only met technical requirements but also delivered strategic value. More recently, as a Project Finance Associate Intern, I built on my financial and strategic experience. I conducted energy supply–demand analysis for the New England region, created project finance models from scratch for a 15MW solar project, and developed investment theses for a $25M renewable portfolio. My work involved translating engineering and market assumptions into financial models assessing IRR, NPV, and risk scenarios, enabling data-driven investment decisions. As an MBA + MS in Management Science student at Boston University, I continue to bridge engineering, finance, and strategy. My goal is to help organizations accelerate the clean energy transition by delivering solutions that are technologically robust, financially sound, and sustainable at scale.
