About Navid Ghasemi

As a System Engineer at OCEM Airfield Technology, I specialize in designing and implementing airfield ground lighting systems, including control and monitoring systems. With a background in civil engineering, I bring strong skills in project management, technical support, and the validation of complex systems. Driven by my passion for road safety and mobility, I pursued a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. During this time, I conducted interdisciplinary research on driver's behaviour using advanced driving assistant systems, both in driving simulators and on real roads. As a road safety engineer at ZINI ELIO, involved in a research joint program with the University of Bologna, I coordinated, planned, and monitored extraordinary road maintenance projects, alongside the development of traffic road accident monitoring and management systems. I hold a Professional Engineer License in Civil and Environmental Engineering in Italy, and I am proficient in Farsi, English, and Italian.
