About Navin Dass

A licensing and monitoring regulator in the Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission with the experience of a telecommunications network engineer for 7 years, particularly in network planning, strategy and operations. Additionally with a comprehensive involvement in project management & digital marketing. Contributed to the planning and engineering of 5G network for Digital Nasional Berhad, the start-up single wholesale network operator established in 2021 mandated by the Government of Malaysia, to rollout Malaysia’s 5G network & infrastructure nationwide. Heavily supported the rollout by additionally performing project management roles for relatively short-staffed teams to attain the government’s ambition of 80% 5G coverage nationwide by 2024. Conclusively accomplished 82% coverage in Dec 2023 with over 5G sites nationwide and achieving the fastest network rollout ever in Malaysia.
