I’m Navya Mehta, a problem solver at heart, a lifelong learner by choice, and a data enthusiast by passion. As a Data Science and Analytics student at SUNY Buffalo State University, I’m on a mission to transform raw data into actionable insights that can drive meaningful change. With a background in software engineering at Optum, I led the migration of 15 critical on-premises applications to Azure, cutting infrastructure costs by 40%, and streamlined software releases by implementing a Kubernetes-focused CI/CD pipeline, reducing deployment time by 30%. My toolkit includes Python, SQL, Tableau, and machine learning, but I believe my most valuable skill is my curiosity — constantly asking “what if?” and “how can we make this better?” Currently, I’m exploring new challenges in AI, especially around NLP and predictive modeling, and am excited about how data can transform industries. I aim to make an impact at the intersection of technology and human experience, working towards data-driven solutions that improve lives.
