About Nayara Neusinger

When I’ve started my trainee program 20+ years ago, I had no idea how Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain is a vast, dynamic and interesting industry. Challenges are part of our daily routine, and we’re always learning to ensure our customers have the best experience and outcome during the process. In my journey in this industry I’ve had the opportunity to be part of several different roles, starting as a trainee, moving to import operations, then becoming Key Account for very special customers. Next step started with my leadership roles: started as supervisor, then assistant manager, to a Manager. How rewarding it is to lead a team and see how my guidance has helped so many colleagues in their careers. I also had the opportunity to move to the other side of the globe, from Brazil to Australia, to further learn and develop my skills in a different language, culture, regulations. And at the same time I’m learning I’ve been able to support growth bringing diversity to the table. Skills acquired along the way are many from discovering my analytical mind, my strong focus on cost control, training not only my own direct reports, but wider company, with my mind always connected with the customer, working on various projects with other stakeholders to bring process improvements, better quality and higher efficiency. I’ve also learned to delegate and empower my staff to get the most out of the team. We should always use our time to learn and become a better version of ourselves. I’m looking forward to what future has to bring.
