About Nayeli Chaidez

As a Career Counselor and Educator, I have a Master's degree in Counselor Education - Career Counseling from California State University-Sacramento, where I also completed my Bachelor's degree in Public Health - Community Health Education. My core competencies include, collaborative and transparent leadership, community outreach, and team building. As a former Interim Director of a CCAP Dual Enrollment Program, I worked with a diverse team of faculty, staff, and K-12 partners to coordinate and implement dual enrollment, which offers high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses while in high school. I am passionate about supporting the academic and career success of underrepresented and disproportionately impacted students, and I bring a unique perspective and experience as a first-generation college graduate and professional myself. I believe that equitable early college initiatives can empower students to overcome barriers, achieve their potential, and be cost-effective for families and communities.
