About Nayoon Kim

Nayoon Kim is a passionate multicultural individual with a background in Culture & Design Management from Yonsei University (Sinchon Campus). As an aspiring Public Relations specialist, she has developed experience across diverse environments and industries. During her internship at INNOCEAN, she contributed to various projects that solidified her interest in brand experience through media and communications. As a member of the Global Hyundai 2 Team, she supported the development and management of Hyundai Motor Company’s global brand identity through campaigns such as CES 2024 and the short Sci-Fi film. She actively participated in the ideation of global marketing campaigns and the strategic development of brand storytelling, ensuring that the company’s communications flourished across both consumer-focused (B2C) and industry-focused (B2B) contexts. Currently, she is deepening her expertise in strategic communications as a Public Relations intern at Weber Shandwick. By assisting with the PR efforts of global and finance industry clients, she has expanded her knowledge, gaining professional insight into finance and technology communications. Nayoon’s passion for communications is also rooted in her background in journalism. During her undergraduate years, she served as a culture reporter for The Yonsei Annals and as a student reporter for Korea JoongAng Daily, publishing over 20 articles in both offline and online outlets. Her articles showcase her meticulous, comprehensive writing skills and reflect her global perspective. With a strong interest in exploring the intersections of media and culture, Nayoon has also led creative projects in music and film. She served as A&R director for Korean folktronica artist Heedo’s second album, overseeing the overall artistic and business direction of the album. She was also the producer and art director of the music video for the title track '.' With experience living in India (6 yrs), Brazil (5 yrs), Hong Kong (5 months), and the United States (8 months), Nayoon is capable of speaking English, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Nayoon believes in the power of media and culture in building connection. She is motivated in helping brands create content and engaging brand experiences that the audience can resonate with, ultimately bridging the gap between companies and consumers through strategic communications.
