About Nazih K.

I have been at NDU-Louaize since started as software developer then moved to a dual role system administrator and software developer. I kept this dual role for a while until I am promoted to the Director of Office of Information Technology department of Infrastructure and Support (OIT-IS). We, OIT-IS team, face challenges with the evolution of technology. We aim to adapt the new technology as well as to provide optimal tech solutions to the NDU community whether they are faculty, staff and student. My responsibilities include managing Microsoft 365 licensing and its services to make sure this cloud tech is available to our community.As part of my roles, I manage, consolidate and monitor the university server farm. Consolidation task is to optimize the usage of the local resources. Managing and Monitoring tasks include: MS Windows servers, MSSQL servers, Webservers, Hyper-V management, Hybrid Environment of the Active Directory with MS Intra. Appropriate actions are applied based the log reports. Backups systems are important to every institution. Periodically, I check the authenticity of these backups.Lastly, I maintain and I update applications which I have coded since the beginning of my career at the university.
