In the recent past, I led a team that successfully delivered turnkey solutions for the unbanked population in Zimbabwe. I have implemented multiple projects including core banking system implementations, card based payment solutions, inward remittance and award winning micro payments in Southern Africa. I have successfully directed virtual teams working on Mastercard integrations, Western Union and MoneyGram. Team members were drawn from different continents and operating on different time zones. I have gained extensive knowledge on payment switches and connected payments from financial institutions that facilitate financial inclusion in Zimbabwe and the region(South Africa, Burundi and Lesotho). I have worked as a SME for global payments to facilitate inflows into Zimbabwe. I have a proven track record of leading business teams with a strong understanding of IT management within Fintech, Insurtech and other highly regulated environments. Experienced at engaging at all levels of the business and translating business needs into IT solutions. Top on the list of achievements is building effective partnerships with stakeholders to ensure required business outcomes.
