About Neal Henry

Currently as an Automation Engineer with CIMCO Refrigeration, I am tasked with overseeing the controls aspect of entire projects, from design to implementation. While juggling multiple projects and overseeing the PLC/DDC design, programming, implementation and troubleshooting of these systems, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning in a diverse technical field. In fast paced industrial settings it is of paramount importance to troubleshoot efficiently and quickly to diagnose problems, solve problems in a timely manner, and reduce costs. Having management training education has further allowed me to note how to operate from a business perspective and maintain peak product quality without compromising effective revenues. As a graduate from McMaster University, I have received a degree in Electrical Engineering and Management. During my studies I was given the opportunity to work as the Product Engineering Intern at Semtech Canada in Burlington where I assisted the existing Product Engineering team with data management and automation of product test result representation in order to reduce the impact of delays on the customer. I further learned many of the challenges of the semiconductor industry and the tools needed to thrive within industry. My academic interests from my final year of concentrated study include, but are not limited to-embedded system and control system design -product marketing strategies through real world and simulated markets -digital communications and modulation techniques -digital transmission formats, fiber optic communication fundamentals
