About Neda Keyhanvar
Dedicated and detail-oriented biotechnology researcher currently engaged in postdoctoral research at UCSF, with a specialized focus on CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing in human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and CRISPR pooled screening to elucidate upstream regulators of the human RNA methyltransferase complex via our own developed split GFP systems. Bringing over a decade of research experience and a strong publication record (10+ peer-reviewed articles), I advanced cell culture techniques across diverse cell types (hiPSCs, MSCs, HEK293T, NPCs, fibroblasts, and keratinocytes), molecular cloning, lentivirus production and transduction. I have also developed collaborations across various projects. Skilled in stem cell differentiation, FACS, ICC, confocal microscopy, RNA/DNA extraction, PCR and quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), I am adept with protein expression systems, cell-sheet engineering, and bioinformatics tools. Additionally, I have experience with mouse handling and am currently expanding my skill set in Python and R programming.
