What is Human Resources to me? It is providing top quality customer service to perspective employees or current employees no matter their job title. They are wanting to work but are nervous coming into a new company generally knowing no one. HR is the first place they generally see and should have a great first experience, that is our job. The old saying "you never get a second chance to make a first great impression" is very true today. In the world of technology, human contact is still important to get to know the person for themselves, not what a computer pulls apart from a resume or application. I have had horrible customer service and made to feel that I did not matter and did not matter if I was hired or not. I swore to myself I would never do that to another human being, we all mattered and you never know who that one person may be that will be an asset to the organization. I love the healthcare field so I got my BA in Healthcare Administration. After my experience, I decided to go further and received my Masters' in Human Resource Management in December 2018.
