About Neel Koradia

I am a designer with over 6 years of experience in product design, generative art, UX/UI, and new media technologies. Currently a Product Designer at Coursera, leveraging over five years of experience in product design and interaction design to create impactful learning experiences. Skilled in UX/UI and platform design, the focus lies on crafting user-centered solutions that promote innovation in online education. Previous contributions at Microsoft include foundational work on Viva Learning, integrating learning into employees' workflows, and leading the design of the "Skills" chapter, which involved user research, design thinking workshops, and prototype development. At Microsoft, I contribute to the foundational development of Viva Learning, a platform that seamlessly integrates learning into employees' workflow. I led the design of the Skills chapter in Viva Learning, overseeing user research, design thinking workshops, prototype development, and successful shipping. I also won the Product Excellence Award for redesigning the Viva Learning Desktop and Mobile App, enhancing the user experience and engagement. Prior to Microsoft, I was a designer and strategist at Fractal, where I built the component library for the Phi Design System, a framework for data and AI products recognized by Forrester. I also initiated behavioral strategy and design interventions to build client relationships with Google - YouTubeTV and YouTube Shorts. I am passionate about creating impactful and innovative products that solve real-world problems using my skills in generative art, UX/UI design, and new media technologies.
