As a Settlement Coordinator with Thunder Bay Multicultural Association (TBMA) provide information, orientation and effective referrals for initial settlement, accreditation, citizenship and immigration services to newcomer immigrants, refugees and skilled workers. Provide them information in person, on phone, through websites, based on their changing needs and give para-professional counseling and how to acquire Canadian Citizenship. Skills in planning, promoting, managing, budgeting and implementing youth and adult programs. As Licensed Teacher (OCT) focus on well being of children bringing out their creativity. Providing step by step support to students to work hard, get well educated, become independent thinker, develop good work ethics, get involved in the community building process by promoting volunteerism at their young age. Encourage everyone to do volunteer work and participate in networking opportunities and give back to the community an fulfill their rights to vote at the Elections. See strength in community based programs and building working partnerships with key stakeholders, local businesses, educational institutions, health clinics, physician's office, employment centres and multi-faith social groups.
