I am a passionate and dedicated biotechnologist with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in genetics bioinformatics and functional nutrition. I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from St. Berchmans College and a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from Assumption College. Currently I am enhancing my expertise as a Trainee in Bioinformatics and Bio curation at OhMyGene where I focus on identifying associations between specific SNPs and disease conditions managing genetic databases and contributing to research that bridges the gap between genetics and health. My experience also includes working as a Technical Assistant in Functional Nutrition where I developed personalized nutrition strategies based on genetic markers collaborated with healthcare professionals and educated clients on the vital connection between nutrition and genetics. I am skilled in various laboratory techniques including RT-PCR DNA & RNA isolation and molecular lab techniques and I am proficient in bioinformatics tools and software. I am committed to leveraging my skills and knowledge to contribute to innovative research and health solutions.
