25+ years of expertise in Management of product development and productization of Wifi7 chip development and firmware (sw) features. Responsible for complete chip program productization from pre-silicon firmware validation on fpga/zebu to the complete firmware design and development for wifi7/wifi6 chipsets. Also extensively worked with sales and marketing teams for product design wins in the area of mobility and automotive. Presently responsible for entire development life cycle of wifi for the end customers by engaging the team for bring-up, use-cases implementation and various customization and bug-fixes- Built up a customer focused team from scratch for the mobility, automotive and media connectivity products- Collaborate with marketing team for design wins by defining the new use-cases/features for wireless communication - Responsible for Customer software delivery, interaction and integration - Work with the multi-site engineering teams for successful delivery of production firmware - Responsible for day-to-day operations of engineer's priorities and work allocation - Successfully delivered various generations of WiFi Technologies to the mobility customers - Successfully ramped up the automotive business of Broadcom's connectivity to the tune of 100M$ before company decided to sell this business to Cypress Semiconductors. In the past, Project management, technical leadership and individual contributor experience in the area of WiFi 802.11 11be/11ax, WifiDirect, NFC+WiFi, Board support packages for mobile phones, low level drivers in C and C++, embedded device-drivers & firmware development for smartphones, HDTV systems, Set-top boxes. Exposed to complete System software development, benchmarking and system performance analysis for various consumer devices. Also Providing all technical support and presentations for integration of wifi software to customer stacks. Being the first point of contact for client interactions for software cycle and product issues and manage high priority client escalations.
