About Neetu Sinha

Slow and steadily, my career has been jumping lanes, or maybe I am shifting gears from a narrow to a broader field or vice-versa. From Oral health to Oral pathology, was a journey of specialization in laboratory techniques, histopathology and viewing the world of diseases in shades of pink and purple. With National Oral Health Program, came the time for community and stakeholder management, learning as I trained them. I have often thought why Tobacco cessation is not a part of our curriculum. As dentists we are the first point of contact. What started as an oral cancer screening, under NHM, transitioned into full fledged cancer prevention and screening project under the Karkinos Women Wellness Program in Jharkhand. Those years have made an impeccable mark on me. Working in such close proximity with tribal and rural women, have often left me in awe and wonder about their strength irrespective of their hardships. And now back to my pathology, working with three Ms, Marketing, Molecular Diagnostics and Mindfulness.
