About Negin Jamzad

My early interest in design started in childhood, growing up between two homes in Iran and Japan. At the age of three, I started painting with my father, a professional painter and engineer who always encouraged me to build, craft, and paint. I grew up painting on every possible surface, from my classroom tables to walls and canvases. As I pursued my studies in mathematics and physics, my intense passion for art and design led me to enroll in an Architectural Engineering program. My architectural background brings a genuinely holistic approach to my design work, allowing me to move seamlessly between the conceptual and functional aspects of a project. Today, my interest and driving passion in design reside in our ability, as designers, to shape social spaces and influence changes in both social and personal lives. Upon settling in Vancouver, I chose to complete a formal program in Interior Design to absorb the cultural elements and industry practices of Canada. This decision was driven by my dream: to touch people’s souls and hearts through beautiful, inspired, and functional space design. Since graduation, I have explored various industries, starting with furniture and layout design consultation, moving to home styling, interior design, and millwork design, and then transitioning into project development and coordination. For the past three years, my experience in leadership and design has prepared me to take a broader perspective on the practicality and logistics of project execution. I have been deeply involved in every step of each project, from conception to completion. To me, interior design is a response to people’s needs and desires, enabling them to navigate and interact with space efficiently and joyfully. Thoughtfully designed spaces, aligned with their functions and personalities, create an environment where individuals can build lasting and meaningful memories.
