About Negin Saatchi

As an O-RAN Telecom Engineer at TELUS, one of the leading telecommunications companies in Canada, I design, implement, and test innovative and scalable solutions for 5G network deployment and performance improvement. I apply my expertise in 5G New Radio (NR) to optimize wireless communications and network management, using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. I have a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Victoria, where I also worked as a research and teaching assistant for over two years. During this time, I contributed to multiple projects involving machine learning, wireless networking, and network optimization, resulting in several publications and patents. I am passionate and curious about machine learning, wireless communications systems, and network management, and I am always eager to learn new technologies and skills that can enhance the quality and efficiency of these domains. My goal is to become a leader and a mentor in this field and to make a positive impact on the society and the environment through my work.
