About Neha Phansalkar

Ecologist by Passion and Profession. Presently, I work as a Project Consultant - Ecology for Arcadis Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. I lead a team of passionate and experienced ecologists in India. I have developed considerable experience with development-related ecological, environmental and sustainability work and I am fully conversant with current wildlife legislation, planning law and best practice guidelines. In my current role, I work on client projects which are UK and Europe based. I have a good experience of delivering ecological desk studies, biodiversity mitigation strategies, analyzing bat sound data etc. on a range of projects. I am competent in using software like BatSound, BatExplorer, Kaleidoscope and have a basic understanding of PowerBI and ArcGIS. Prior to joining Arcadis, I had worked with a renowned organization named BAIF Development Research Foundation. I was responsible for delivery of some of its major projects like Ecological restoration of sacred groves and Climate Change studies conducted across different biogeographical zones of India.
