About Nehal Singhal

Nehal, a Computer-Engineering student at Georgia Tech, is a keen learner who enjoys applying rationality and cognitive skills to solve problems and challenges on a global scale. He firmly believes that the youth of today need to become critical thinkers, harnessing the ability to learn in order to identify and combat global issues. His organization, The Alpha Theory- one of India's largest media hubs for high-school students- finds its motivation in these words. The Alpha Theory is a Journalistic initiative that aims to create better leaders for tomorrow's world by dissecting unheard issues pragmatically. Whether it's Argentina, Congo, or India, The Alpha Theory does its best to inform its audience of global predicaments. SustainablyAlpha, a The Alpha Theory publication, is India's First Sustainability E-magazine published and produced entirely by students. Through it, The Alpha Theory has interviewed dozens of industry experts in education, production, supply-chain, energy, automobiles, and more. Nehal was selected as a Yale Young Global Scholar in 2023, as part of the Solving Global Challenges cohort, where he devised sustainable solutions to Ukraine's Energy grid crisis. His love for learning is better expressed in his 2023 Tedx Talk,'Relearning Learning.' Now at Georgia Tech, Nehal aims to apply his technical prowess at the intersection of hardware, software and design to build products and ideas that can create a sustainable and lasting impact- all while never stopping the process of learning.
