About Neil Banich
From early in his career, Neil Banich has demonstrated a talent for architectural design, first at Henriquez and Partners and later at Urban Design Partners in Vancouver. Banich joined B. James Wensley Architects in 1988 where he designed many of the firm's projects under the direction of its namesake, Jim Wensley. Banich established Wensley Architecture Ltd. with Barry Weih in 2001. Since becoming a Principal of Wensley Architecture, his role has expanded to include coordination and design for all of the firm’s major office, retail and residential projects. As Wensley Architecture's design director, Banich is responsible for transforming the Client’s vision for a project into an appropriate and aesthetically satisfying building design. His building and interior design work has earned the firm recognition through numerous awards and publications. His experience and his passion for architecture allow him to create innovative and effective building designs within time and budget constraints.
