38 years of experience in the Canadian Oil and Gas and Energy Industry. Worked the way up through the ranks in an accounting department setting. Fixed assets, prod. & revenue accounting and Financial reporting after receiving my CMA designation in 1990. Have specialized in small oil and gas companies or divisions of larger US parent companies. This requires me to be very involved with day to day activities but also to be a part of management teams involved with planning, budgeting and growth strategies. Also have to deal with other items like administration, insurance, HR, corporate secretary items banking and dealing with external auditors, shareholders and directors. A well rounded guy suitable for startup situiations Currently I am CFO for an early staged helium exploration company called North American Helium Inc. Specialties: Generalist accountant that can do it all or knows when and where to find the resources to get the job done. Can do it all with a small company but can grow as the company grows with supervisory exerience from 2-20 indirects.
