About Neil Chapman
I have been involved in medical research and teaching since 1997. I was awarded Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in April 2017 and promoted to Senior University Teacher within the Medical School of the University of Sheffield in December 2017. Whilst my speciality is reproductive medicine, I have a broad base of biomedical sciences training which is utilised in my medical teaching. I excel in the development and delivery of research-led medical education, scientific writing and scholarship both within the University and nationally at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. My publication H-index is 11 with 475 citations for 35 publications and conference abstracts (Scopus ID 7102460522 for Chapman NR). I am accomplished at presenting complex biomedical data in a concise, understandable format for a range of stakeholders including non-specialist and lay audiences as well as primary school children.
