About Neil Custer

With over 35 years of hardware, networking, and software development experience, in my current role I determine the operational methods and integration of various middleware products. These products provide the support for the development of enterprise-capable software modules, web services, APIs, and other artifacts in an enterprise services-oriented architecture. My present team is employing and improving the implementation of various products which support an API-focused architecture to help foster a modern software development culture. Current work is focusing on leading DevOps process development for configuring, maintaining, and deploying middleware for SOA solutions featuring WSO2 products using open source tools and standard Linux utilities. I've instructed programming courses at junior colleges and for professional training institutions, and conducted Senior Systems Management seminars for Air Force officers and senior enlisted leaders. The number of hardware, networking, and software technologies, tools, languages, and methods I've used during my career are too numerous to list. Specialties: Vision and insight into understanding customer needs and the use of specific Information Technology solutions for meeting those needs. I'm comfortable working with both technical and non-technical business professionals at all levels.
